Summer Sun
OK, so Abercrombie isn't exactly high fashion or anything, but once in a while they do catch my attention with a piece or two. Known more for their laid-back, casual attire, I was a little surprised to see this dress hanging amongst a sea of jeans and t-shirts. I love its charming seersucker print and its fuller skirt, which makes this more casual dress a little more flirty.
And I'm totally loving this random vineyard. It looks like it's right out of a storybook, doesn't it? Very picturesque indeed!

Blue Jeans
Hi Everyone!
So these denim shorts are my first pair.....well...ever! I know, I know, who doesn't own a pair of denim shorts right? Especially shocking since denim cutoffs seem to be the fashion staple of every girl in Southern California. But I have to admit, while they are a little cliché , there's also a timeless quality about them, which makes me reach for them more often than not on scorching hot days. Perhaps they'll find their way into my list of fashion staples now??
I paired my new shorts with a loose button down, sleeves rolled up, for a relaxed vibe. This tops is one of my favorites, and I especially love the black stripe down the back. Very tuxedo like.
Let me know what you think!

Star Spangled
Hi everyone! I hope you all had a fun and safe Independence Day! I know I did!
In honor of the holiday, I decided to wear red, white, and blue. I realized while putting together my outfit that I really don't have much red clothing, other than red shoes. It's a little weird that I have a couple of pairs of red shoes, but no red clothes. Blue, on the other hand, is all over my closet!

Lost In Atlantis
While I do love swishy dresses, sometimes I prefer a shift dress due to its simplistic silhouette and its ability to flatter a small frame. When I saw this one on the Sugarlips website, I knew it'd be perfect for the summer months. With clean lines and a color-blocking ruffle down the front, this "Lost in Atlantis" dress definately sets itself apart from the usually structured shift dresses. The dress has perfectly mastered a balance between the sporty look, that has been so popular this season, and an understated femininity. I'm completely smitten!
I thought the dress stood out really well on it's own, so I decided not to wear any jewelry as to not overpower the dress's chic simplicity. I paired them with my Zara heels for a pop of contrasting orange (I can't seem to get enough of the orange and blue color combination!). Tell me what you think!!!
